Summer Food Service Information
Our weekly Meal Kit distribution will resume on Thursday, June 17th. Meal kits are available at NO COST to all children ages 0-18. Each meal kit will include 7 breakfasts, 7 lunches, a variety of fruits and vegetables, and a gallon of milk. We will not be taking Pre-Orders for meal kits.

Meal Kit pick up will be held at Central Elementary on Thursday’s from 12:30 - 1:30 PM. Pick Up will happen inside the school in the cafeteria. There will be signage to guide you to the pick up area and we will have staff on hand to assist with larger orders.

As a reminder, students enrolled in Summer School at Central Elementary and children attending the Learning Center at Central Elementary are not eligible for these kits as they will have access to meals while attending their programming at Central.

In addition, we will be providing weekend bags containing 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches on Friday's to all interested students at Central Elementary.

Families must reapply every year for Free and Reduced Meal Benefits. Meal benefits from the current year will expire on October 5, 2021. Families impacted by the pandemic are encouraged to apply as you may be eligible for benefits. Please fill out your application as soon as possible to ensure your students benefits are ready for the upcoming school year.
Should I still complete a Free and Reduced Meal Benefits Application while lunches are free? Yes!
Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) is a program that partners with SNAP to provide FREE Michigan Fruits and Vegetables to Bridge Card users at participating markets. Please see the information below about this wonderful program.
